Wednesday Mid-week Service "How Jesus chose His "ladder-holders."

It was wonderful to fellowship with other believers and have a time of refreshment in God's presence during the mid-week Service.

The service started with intercessory prayers led by Sam. Min. Knowledge led the Choir during the call to worship with the song titled, "He knows my name."
Min. Mariam Efogwo led the congregation with inspiring songs like, "High in all the earth," "Holy, Holy, Holy," and "Glorious."
The heart of the congregation was lifted up to heaven in worship which was led by Paulnams with the following song titles:
"With everything," and "Majesty."

The following are the announcements for the day as taken by Pastor Dexter:
1. There will be a baby dedication of Mr. & Mrs. Ajibade today
2. CITH [Church in the home] review comes up this Saturday, May 4th, 2013,
3. New classes for Foundation School and Finding the Rock will start this upcoming
 Sunday, May 5th, 2013.

The Senior pastor here at House on the Rock, Asaba, pastor Cosfinney Udoka, delivered the word from the Lord. Before he went on to deliver the message, he reminded the church that the women's conference is coming up from May 31st to June 2nd.

He continued the leadership series with the message was titled, "How Jesus chose His "ladder-holders."

Bible text was taken from the book of Luke 5 vs 1-11, 27, 28.

The following are major highlights of the massage:

"When you choose the right people, the right "ladder-holders," you will succeed in your leadership career. The right "ladder-holders" will carry on the vision of the leader.

"The first thing that Jesus did when he started His ministry was to take time to choose His "ladder-holders." He selected Peter, James, and John all at once because of the partnership they had. Christ new that partnership was very important to His ministry, so He picked men who understood the value of partnership.  Anyone you will choose as your assistant or "ladder-holder" must be willing to be in partnership with you and must understand team work.
